Epidaurus is the most important ancient place of worship of the god Asclepius. The city was located, where today Pidavra or Old Epidaurus (Ancient Epidaurus) 13 km from the Asclepieion. from the city of Nafplio, 20 km from Nea Epidavros [1] and about 13 km from Old Epidavros. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.
